This image features an early morning impression of a section of wetland when the fog is just starting to lift. Buttertubs Marsh is a bird and wildlife sanctuary and is located in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. There is a 2 km loop trail around the marsh and a few observation decks plus a tower perfect for birdwatching.
