Out of the darkness

It was a cold day in the -20 to -30 degrees Celsius range and just as the sun rose above the horizon. The sun was camera right, and the owl flew out of the dark background lit by the snow below I could not have done better if it was a studio set up. Sometimes everything works out when exposed correctly.
