Flat sea holly - Blauwe distel – Eryngium planum A flora capture. This is a species of flowering plant in the family Apiaceae and is native in South East Europe and Central Asia. It becomes 50 centimeter high. The Flat sea holly is used in folk medicine as a diuretic, a stimulant, and an appetizer owing to its essential oils and bioactive compounds.
