A Whale's Tail

I went on an Ocean Sanctuary (name of the company) cruise the weekend I was down at Elkhorn Slough on the coast of California. The boat started at Elkhorn Slough and explored the ocean for the next four hours to look for sea creatures. There were seals, dolphins and plenty of humpback whales. We saw a couple of orcas, (or killer whales as they're called), who were at the beginning of their season there. The area under the water in these parts, is called the Monterey Canyon, and is deep enough to hold the Grand Canyon.
