Pulau Ubin is one of the few islands in Singapore. Probably the only one with handful of residents living in the traditional kampung (village) houses. It is one of the last rural areas to be found in Singapore, with an abundance of natural flora and fauna. This island has been preserved from urban development and has been an attraction for tourists and locals alike.
