Another view

I’ve decided to stay longer in this beautiful alpine area. In the photo you can see the majestic Sustenhorn, the Stein Glacier and Swiss Army Military Barracks from the hill slopes obove Susten Pass. Just to repeat, Susten Pass is a mountain pass in the Swiss Alps. The pass road was built during World War II (1938–1945) connects Innertkirchen in the Canton of Bern with Wassen (see “Wassen” photo which I’ve uploaded 4 months ago) in the Canton of Uri. A 300 m long tunnel crosses the pass at 2,224 m a. s. l. This photo shows a view from the pass road to Swiss Army Military Barracks and the famous Stein Glacier. Excellent place for hiking, biking and mountains touring.
