Pretty delighted to be able to announce that this shot has won the British Wildlife Photograph of the Year 2014 award. As it's pretty much the only wildlife shot I've ever taken I was pretty go smacked to win, especially considering the standard of competition, with most of the top pro wildlife photographers entering. If you get chance to check out the travelling exhibition (starting at the Mall galleries in London on Wednesday) or the book which is out today, there is some breathtaking photography in there. I'm pretty honoured to have even got a look in! I've uploaded this before but had to delete it when I found out a few months ago, so apologies to those who've already seen it.
