This is a shot from the crossroads in Sognefjorden between Flom (left) and Gudvangen (right) - An early morning. The fjord into Gudvangen (right) is Nærøyfjorden. Because of the spectacular nature (waterfalls, steep mountains, glaciers, colors, etc) Nærøyfjorden is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can see a little white dot in the shadow from the mountains. That´s the first turist guided boat this morning, and I guess it is a 120 feet long boat. The mountain in front raise 1000 meters direct from the sea. And fall off further down under the surface. With a deep at 1200 meters, Sognefjorden is the deepest fjord in the world. Behind me it´s just steep mountains, and no roads. No people, no buildings. Only the silence and nature of the other side of Sognefjorden. You are welcome to visit my Facebook page http://ift.tt/1ihqwQw
