Nothing is more fun and challenging for me as a photographer than finding sense and order in Oregon's dark lush forests. A couple weekends ago I ventured out to a little visited section of the Columbia River Gorge. We spent over six hours shooting one small section of forest alone. Finally, near the as the sun crept lower toward the horizon, a shaft of light found its way through the dense forest. The light only lasted a brief literally thirty seconds and I was fortunate enough to quickly compose this scene before it faded away. I know these scenes don't typically garner the attention grand landscapes or forest scenes with sunstars (currently becoming in vogue) do, but they leave me more satisfied. Hope you appreciate it as much as I do. http://ift.tt/YpeSs1
