Crimson Rumper Toucanet

The Crimson-rumped Toucanet (Aulacorhynchus haematopygus) is a species of bird in the Ramphastidae family. It is found in humid Andean forests in Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela. The "CRT" is quite common on the western slopes of the Ecuadorian Andes, Very tough shooting conditions!! Thank goodness for canon's 1DX high iso capabilities , as no flash was used, and isn't permitted with the borders of this refuge. Click image and darken surrounding canvas.
